Style-Frame design

2023

From PhotoShop to Cinema 4D

In this project, I was responsible for creating many style frames. At the time, I was learning to slowly transition from the general photo bash creation process to using a full 3D creation process. The reason for this is that in the past, our photo bash finished products could not be used directly. They had to be re-modeled and textured, etc. For commercial projects, this is an extra step. So I thought that if we could create style frames in a full 3D way, then we could directly hand them over to the animators to add animation when they were finished. If we were to create them based on the priviz abc files, then everything would be even smoother. When we finished them, they would be almost complete. All that would be left is to do some compositing and color correction. This would save a lot of time. On the other hand, there are also many advantages to using 3D to create style frames.

Here I present the five style frames that I liked the most in this project. They were all created by me in Cinema 4D and then handed over to other colleagues for final adjustments.
